Edward Pitsi
Co-Founder & CEO
Edward Pitsi, Co-Founder and CEO of Infinite Partners, is Pretoria-born and raised. He holds a BCom, BCom (Hons) CTA and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Pretoria, is a qualified CA(SA), and later completed an Executive MBA at INSEAD. Edward co-founded Infinite Partners alongside long-standing colleagues Titi Sekhukhune and Tabane Matheolane, with whom he has worked closely for over a decade. Edward’s worldview was shaped early by his mother, a retired nurse whose work ethic and entrepreneurial side left a lasting impression, and his high-school accounting teacher, who introduced him to the CA(SA) path. His fascination with private equity was sparked in his final year of university after reading “Barbarians at the Gate” by Bryan Burrough and John Helyar.

Edward is drawn to companies characterised by unique competitive advantages and sustainable market growth drivers, and led by entrepreneurs and managers who can shift gears, lead people, and execute with clarity. What motivates him is the tangible, real-world impact of building businesses and navigating the human side of leadership beyond spreadsheets. He values long-term partnership, world-class execution, and the ability to articulate a vision that people believe in and deliver against. Outside of work, Edward is a devoted husband and father, a lifelong sports enthusiast, with ambitions to pursue football coaching qualifications.

Titi Sekhukhune
Co-Founder & Partner
Titi Sekhukhune, Co-Founder and Partner of Infinite Partners, was born and raised in Polokwane. Her upbringing was shaped by this part-rural, part-urban environment; insight she can bring to her work as a private equity investor. Raised by two hardworking parents who placed deep value on education, she was guided by a home ethos that “any dream is possible”. Her path into business and investment was influenced by outstanding teachers and a lifelong habit of reading that broadened her worldview. Titi holds a Bachelor of Commerce and BCom Honours in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and qualified as a CA(SA) in 2007. After five years in investment banking, she moved into private equity, where she met Edward Pitsi and Tabane Matheolane. The three worked closely over many years, including as part of the founding team of Mid-Market Fund I, before opting to go independent and forming Infinite Partners.

Titi is fundamentally driven by business quality rather than sector labels, focusing on defensiveness, growth & scalability and differentiation. She is particularly drawn to challenger businesses led by ambitious leaders willing to rethink how things are done. What energises her most is the complexity of private equity; nothing is linear. Success depends as much on creativity, resilience, and people as it does on numbers. She is deeply motivated by building companies alongside founders, creating employment, and contributing to South Africa’s long-term growth, while helping build a firm that outlasts its founders. Outside of work, Titi is a devoted family woman, a keen reader of contemporary African fiction, an enthusiastic home cook and randomly blogs about travel, style and self-care.

She was raised in a disciplined household led by a doctor and a nurse who believed deeply in education and opportunity. That grounding shaped her curiosity, work ethic, and long-term outlook. She studied Actuarial Mathematics at the University of Pretoria and later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting at the University of Cape Town, qualifying as a CA(SA). After early experience at Allan Gray and EY, she spent nearly a decade at Ethos Private Equity before co-founding Infinite Partners with long-standing colleagues Edward Pitsi and Titi Sekhukhune.

A generalist investor by nature, Tabane is inspired by founders who build transformational, long-lasting businesses that create opportunity beyond financial returns. She is motivated by the tangible impact of partnering with management teams to shape strategy, strengthen organisations, and leave businesses in a better state at exit. Outside of work, she is a devoted wife and proud mom to two sons, a passionate tennis player, and an active member of a weekly netball team.
